Located at the Choshi tomb ruins, which have been designated as the Cultural Properties. The museum exhibits Jomon and Yayoi period earthenware, as well as literature related to the stone age. A tomb is also on exhibition. Special exhibitions are held twice a year and an earthenware workshop is open to the public.

The collection of KAWANISHI Toyotaro, a successful business man in the region is exhibited. The collection includes the Japanese paintings and local ceramist's works. Various pottery by HAYASHI Shigematsu, regional potter are the best collection.
