This museum was established to preserve cultural assets and to promote the pottery and porcelain of the region. Over two hundred pieces of pottery and porcelain have been designated as prefectural assets; these are from all over the world and the region. Modern pottery and porcelain and clay images of Korean dogs are on display. A workshop and tearoom are also open to visitors.

The collection of ARAKI Minoru is housed here and includes Sue wares, teabowls and roof tiles. Clay figures, stone implements, and earthenware found at the ruins of old kilns are also exhibited.

Seto city,a pottery center for well over a thousand years, is well known to the world. "Setomono" can be translated as 'ceramic wares,' and is synonymous with the city's name. Valuable works of literature and items related to technique, tradition, tools, and pots of Seto ware are exhibited. Especially more than seven thousand pottery tools, such as wheels, tools for slab building, modelling tools and wooden ribs are on display. All in all over three thousands items are in the museum including national treasures.

Takahama city is well known for roof tile manufacturing, actually "Kawara" can be translated as "roof tile." The Kawara museum exhibits roof tiles as well as related literature. In addition, landscape designs and roof tile paintings as artistic motifs can be viewed at the museum. A workshop for visitors is also available. The park next to the museum uses roof tiles for building materials which gives an artistic impression. This museum was established in 1995.

Valuable archaeological literature related to the Asahi ruins are exhibited. Research processes as well as the research results from the Kiyosu Castle ruins are shown on video tape. Visitors can also touch actual Yayoi earthenware.

This museum was established in 1980 and exhibits the works of KATO Tokuro and his writings. KATO contributed to the revitalization of Oribe, Shino, Ki-Seto, Shigaraki, Iga, Karatsu, as well as ceramic walls which were first made during Edo period. The collection includes not only his ceramics works but also his collection of more than 5500 valuable pieces of literature.

The Tokugawa museum derives its name from Ieyasu Tokugawa, the first Shogun of the Edo period. His collection is usually the main focus of the exhibits and these include nine national treasures, and forty-four cultural assets of the Tokugawa family are shown in a replication of Ninomaru, Nagoya Castle. at the Ninomaru.

Tokoname-city is well known as a pottery area, especially its teapots, and has a history dating back nine hundreds years. A collection of pottery production equipment as well as various Tokoname pots are mainly exhibited. Visitors can also enjoy watching a video about the pottery production process.

TOYOHASHI Art Museum was established in Toyohashi park where Yoshida Castle used to be, in 1979. The collection includes the archaeological literature, folklore literature, ceramic ware made during Edo and Meiji period are mainly exhibited. There are large kiln and its facility which were used to fire the large ceramic works in the site. The collection includes the ceramic tile which were used for exterior decoration of the modern architecture as well as sanitary of Sometsuke are exhibited at TOKONAME Ceramic Park.
