The IGA AND SHIGARAKI POTTERY MUSEUM exhibits the collection of OKUCHI Isao, a well-known ceramics collector in the region. Thirty-five pieces of ancient Iga-yaki and Shigaraki-yaki are displayed; the museum was established in 1978.

This is the first museum in Kuwana-city and it houses the collection of the MATSUDAIRA Sadanobu family. MATSUDAIRA was a feudal lord in the region and his collection includes literature, teabowls, banko and ko-banko wares, Japanese paintings, tea ceremony utensils, and archaeological literature.
