This museum exhibits precious wares related to the tea ceremony, notably a white raku teabowl and Kutani wares, and calligraphy and brush painting. Included are twenty-eight works of art which have been designated as the National Properties. Among the six hundred pieces in the collection are modern paintings by Renoir, Chagall and Rouault.

This museum was established to preserve and exhibit the Modern Art, such as Japanese paintings, Western paintings, sculptures, art and craft as well as brush paintings in 1983. The annex to house Chinese pottery and porcelain in Ming dynasty was build in 1992. This museum is located in KOMABA park of ASAMA Mountain, nearby Yatsugatake, you can see the precious art works in great nature atmosphere.

Yatsugatake mountain is well known for the ruins of Jomon period. This museum was established to preserve and exhibit the works which were found at the ruins of Jomon period in 1975. Earthenware, stonework, archaeological literature related Jomon period as well as modern paintings and sculptures are mainly shown.

Iida Municipal Archaeological Museum was established to preserve and exhibit the works which were found at 64 ruins in the region. The collection includes earthenware, stoneware, as well as green glazed Tenmoku tea bowls and archaeological literature which were made in pre-history, Jomon, Yayoi, Nara, Heian, as well as middle and modern age are mainly on display.

The collection of TANAKA Family, a successful merchant family in Edo period, is exhibited. It is said that TANAKA Family was richer than the feudal clan family during late Edo. The collection includes lacquer ware, pottery and porcelain as well as other everyday life house hold articles which were used and collected by TANAKA family, shown at 'Kura', an ancient style of Japanese storage house.

Togari-Ishi is well known for the ruins of Jomon period. The Togari-Ishi Archaeological Museum is located at the next of Togari-Ishi ruins, houses more than one thousand of works which were found at the ruins. 'Venus of Jomon', designated as the National Property as well as various earthenware and archaeological literature are on display.

Kiso street used to be the main road between Edo and Kyoto, many pottery such as Tokoname-yaki, Seto-yaki, Imari-yaki were carried on the road. Kisoji Museum of Art was established to preserve and house pottery and porcelain of Jomon, Yayoi, Middle to Modern age, especially various wares of Imari-yaki. The collection also includes Ukiyo-e by Hiroshige, modern paintings and sculptures.
