Marugame Museum Nakatsu Bansyo-en, 25-1 Nakatsu-machi, Marugame-city, Kagawa Pref., 763-0054 0877-23-6326
The Marugame Museum was established in 1982 to exhibit Barbizon Schoolpaintings of the 19th century by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, Jean-Francois Millet, and Charles-Francois Daubigny. There is also pottery annex with items made from 2000 B.C. to the 13th century. This museum is located on the site of the beautiful Japanese garden 'Nakatsu Bansyo-en,' in itself worth a visit.
