The Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of Art opened in 1968 and was renovated in 1996. It exhibits regional artists works such as paintings and pottery along with western fine arts.

Open: 10:00 - 18:00
Closed: Monday and New Year's Holiday (Dec.28-Jan.4)


Kozanji Temple Museum

The Kozanji Temple Museum was established in 1952 and exhibits Buddhist art, brush paintings, tea ceremony utensils, archaeological literature, modern arts and sculpture as well as modern arts and crafts. Nineteen works are designated as Important Cultural Properties and 40 pieces are designated as Important Artistic Properties; the collection consists of 2,000 pieces.

Juken Museum of Art

The Juken Museum of Art was founded in 1977 by the JUKEN Corporation, a building materials manufacturer. The collection includes glassworks by Emile Gale, Meissen porcelain wares, and paintings.
