This museum was started by Ryuhei KOSETSU, founder of the Asahi Newspaper. Located on a quiet street in a nice residential neighborhood, the museum exhibits Japanese and Oriental art works, such as painting, brush painting, Buddhist images, swords, armor, as well as tea ceremony utensils. Noteworthy is a Raku teabowl by Chojiro dating from the Momoyama period.

The TEKISUI Museum was founded in 1964 to exhibit the private collection of YAMAGUCHI Kichirobei, a successful business man in Kansai region. The collection includes pottery and porcelain, dolls and other arts and crafts works. Especially the collection of ceramics is notably priceless, such as Red Raku tea bowl by Chojiro, overglazed enamel cold water jars with chrysanthemum painting by NINSEI, old Kutani-yaki, and old Kyo-yaki are housed.

The Hakutsuru Fine Art Museum was founded in 1934 by the seventh successor KANOU Jihei of the founder of HAKUTSURU SAKE Manufacture corporation. The collection includes ancient Chinese art works, such as copper ware, silver ware of T'ang dynasty, pottery and porcelain of Sung and Ming dynasty, Gold painted enamel porcelain of Ming dynasty, T'ang three-colored pottery of T'ang dynasty. There are also ancient Japanese works, such as lacquer ware, swords, stoneware of Kamakura period. There are twenty-two pieces of the The Important Properties and two of National Properties are also housed.

The Ohara Art reference Center was founded by the founder of Ohara flower arrangement school. The collection includes earthenware and arts and crafts from ancient Peru, earthenware and clay figures from Mexico and Costa Rica, images of Buddha from India, earthenware from Persia, as well as folklore literature from South east Asian countries are housed.

The Sasayama Museum of History and Art was founded in 1982, the building was originally Sasayama district Court house built in 1891 renovated for the museum. The collection includes armors, swords, paintings pottery and porcelain made in the region, as well as the art works and literature which were found at the regional ruins are housed in the historical building.

The Old Tamba Pottery Museum was founded in 1969 to exhibit ancient Tamba-yaki of Kamakura period to the modern era. There are 312 pieces of Tamba-yaki which are designated as the Important Cultural Properties. The collection is usually classified by the age, style as well as the decorations.
