Ancient pottery and porcelain, such as Imari and Nabeshima wares from Saga prefecture, are mainly exhibited. The Kurita museum is a comprehensive art museum, which consists of various spaces, such as a library, which highlights the production process of Imari and Nabeshima wares. Also found within the museum's thirty acre grounds are a museum devoted to foreign ceramics, a historical museum, a Research & Development division, the Kurita Sanso (the Kurita's mountain villa) and a tearoom.

This Ceramic Art Center, Mashiko was established to preserve and expand Mashiko-yaki to the world. The collection includes HAMADA Shoji's master-piece and local contemporary ceramist's works as well as wood prints are exhibited.

The Mashiko Reference Collection Museum was established to house pottery and porcelain, furniture, weaving, wood works, stone works, paintings from all the ages of all the countries. The collection includes ceramic works by Barnard Leach and HAMADA Shoji.
