This museum is well-known as a library and gallery for Arita-yaki. The collection includes technical papers, pottery production equipment, and other items related to the production of Arita-yaki. Old Arita shards are also on display.

The Arita Porcelain Museum was established in 1954, a well known Porcelain Museum to the world. The architect itself had been built in Meiji period, then renovated into the Museum. The collection includes mainly porcelain, such as Arita-yaki made in the 17th century to the 20th century, ancient Arita-yaki, Imari-yaki, KAKIEMON as well as Nabeshima-yaki are on display.

The Saga Prefectural Art Museum was founded in 1983 and exhibits fine arts, pottery, books as well as dyeing and weaving made by local artists. Overglazed enamel wares by IMAEMON are also housed. It was built nest to the Saga Prefectural Museum.

The Saga Prefectural Museum was established to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Saga prefecture. It's located on the site of San no Maru at Saga Castle and houses the arts and crafts of Saga prefecture. These include Saga weaving, pottery and porcelain, swords, paintings, brush paintings , archaeological literature and relics found at regional ruins.

The Kyushu Ceramic Museum 3100-1, Chubuotsu, Arita-machi, Nishimatsuura-gun, Saga Pref., 844-8585 0955-43-3681
The Kyushu Ceramic Museum was founded in 1975 and exhibits ceramic wares of the Kyushu region. The collection includes Old Karatsu-yaki, Old Imari-yaki, Nabeshima-yaki as well as 1,300 pieces of Arita-yaki from the private collection of the SHIBATA family. Contemporary ceramics by Kyushu ceramists are also exhibited.
